New Creation Counseling Center is offering it's latest workshop, "Recognizing and Coping with Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder".

Though we often think of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as a diagnosis associated with children, it is evident that the disorder poses significant problems for adults as well.

This workshop, hosted by New Creation Counseling Center and presented by counselor Victoria Kettering, will examine the causes of ADHD, the problems with identification of the disorder in adult clients, and the unique manifestation and impact of ADHD in the adult population. Effective treatment interventions for Adult ADHD will be explored, with a special focus on counseling couples and families where ADHD has caused problems.

The workshop is free and open to the public. For mental health providers, 3 CEUs from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board are available for $15.

Presenter: Victoria Kettering, LPCC

Vicky is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Wright State University. She has over 17 years experience working with children and families as well as working with adults. Vicky specializes in parent training, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and play therapy.
