Sexual Addiction and Partner Trauma

New Creation Counseling Center is excited to announce our upcoming workshop, "Sexual Addiction and Partner Trauma".

The workshop is worth 6 CEUs from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

We are pleased to announce our upcoming workshop offering, presented by therapists from Counseling Alliance in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Tim Barber will be sharing his expertise on the topic of Sex and Pornography Addiction, Problematic Sexual behaviors, and compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder. Participants will learn about the neuroscience, etiology, and treatment of sexual addiction as well as how to assess for problematic behavior in your clients.

In the afternoon, Rebecca Miller will present information on partner trauma, drawing from her experience working with people who have been affected by infidelity or sexual addictions.

If you are not getting CEUs for this workshop, the cost is $10.

If you would like 6 Continuing Education Units from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, the total cost of the workshop is $80.

Presenter: Tim Barber, LPCC-S, CSAT-S

Tim Barber spent 22 years in ministry before transitioning into the world of education and mental health. He served for 13 years as Associate Professor in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program at Cincinnati Christian University., and is now the principle owner, Executive and Clinical Director of Counseling Alliance LCC. He specializes in Sex and Porn Addiction, Relationships Counseling, EMDR Therapy, and Trauma Therapy.

Rebecca's values of compassion, commitment, and competence guide her approach in working with clients. She believes that all individuals have the potential for growth, healing, and change when basic needs of significance and belonging are met. As a result of her own journey of healing, Rebecca is passionate about now coming alongside her clients on their own journeys. Rebecca is co-owner of Counseling Alliance LLC.
