Local musician Jeffrey Friend is giving all proceeds from his new song "How Long" to New Creation Counseling Center.  Purchase a download of this song for 99 cents.  

Jeffrey Friend is a local musician, songwriter, producer, and web designer.  He has been affiliated with Ginghamsburg church for several years and is a friend of New Creation Counseling Center.  Recently Jeffrey met with the leadership of New Creation and shared how he had been particularly moved by a song called "How Long" from his new album Two.  Dealing with the important and challenging first steps toward recovery, Jeffrey felt strongly that "How Long" had a special message that would speak to our clients.  

Because of his heart for this agency and the people that we serve, Jeffrey has graciously agreed to give all proceeds from the purchase of "How Long" to New Creation Counseling Center!

"How Long" is a song that illustrates a situation that many of us have faced - being lost.  Needing to change.  Realizing we need help to change.  Fearing the needed change.  Ultimately coming to the question Jeffrey poses - how long will it be until we break our chains?  How long will it be until we break?  

The song is from Jeffrey's second album, appropriately titled Two.  According to Jeffrey the creation of Two was more than just producing another album - it was a healing journey.  "This record is very personal to me. It's a triumph over depression, creative block, self-doubt, and generally thinking that my best years were behind me."
